The Wizard will display the driver that it

found. Click Next.

Go to step 8 in the Using Add Printer section

for Windows 98 found on page 40.

To install the printing software without using Plug and Play, make sure that the printer is
switched on, has paper, and is connected to the computer or network. Start your computer.

You’ll see the Start menu. Click on

Settings, then click on Printers in the

You’ll see the Printers folder.

You’ll see the first screen of the Add

Printer Wizard dialog box. Click the Next

button at the bottom of the dialog box,

and you’ll see the local/network dialog

box (if you see a list of printer manu-

facturers and printer models, go to 

step 4).
