Press AFF button to eliminate or reduce the black 
bars on the top and bottom of the screen. 

Press the ZOOM button to enlarge viewable picture.

Press the button sequentially to change the
zoom scale:

Press the DIRECTION KEYS to navigate within the
zoomed area.

AFF (Active Full Screen Function) allows you to fill 
the  TV  screen  viewing  area  when  playing  a 
widescreen  formatted  DVD  on  a  standard  4:3 
television. Depending on the aspect ratio of the DVD 
presentation, the size of the black bars may vary.

**NOTE: The picture quality is degraded as the picture is 
zoomed.

Press the MUTE button

To mute or temporarily turn off sound:

Press again to resume normal sound
output.

While playing back a disc,

Press the VOLUME button - or +
to adjust the volume output

Volume level will display on screen.

Press SHUFFLE button

To  play back chapters or tracks of a CD or DVD
concert disc in a non-specific, random order:

Press SHUFFLE button twice
To cancel the function and return to normal mode.
