Volume Buttons
The Volume buttons are on the left-hand side of your phone,
above and below the Smart button. The buttons are used for
adjusting the keypad, earpiece and ringer volume. A volume
meter will display the current volume setting. The meter will
disappear after a short time, or if you press

• To adjust the keypad and earpiece volume, press the buttons
with no other features selected.

Volume’ option in the Phone Setup Menu and then use the
buttons to set the required volume.

Automatic Volume Control
If you have set the earpiece volume to maximum and the phone
detects a high level of background noise, the earpiece volume
automatically increases by an additional two steps.
