6. If you selected the GIF file format, a status window appears.  A progress bar

appears, showing that your Ink Note file(s) are being converted into the GIF
file format for your e-mail attachment.

7. The screen on your Palm organizer changes to show a new e-mail message, as

shown:

8. Tap the “Paper Clip” icon.  A list of the Ink Note image(s) that have been

selected and will be attached to your e-mail message, as shown:

Note:  If your Ink Note 
contains multiple pages, 
the GIF conversion
results in one GIF file 
attachment for each 
Ink Note page.

9. Tap OK.  You are returned to the screen with your e-mail message.

10. Fill in the e-mail address for the recipient in the To: field.  Fill in the subject

for the e-mail message in the Subject field.  Enter any text that you want in
the main message area of your e-mail message.

11. Tap either Send or Send Later, as appropriate for your e-mail message.

If you tapped Send, your e-mail message will be transmitted along with the Ink
Note images that you specified during this procedure.  If you tapped Send Later,
your e-mail message will be transmitted the next time you transmit your e-mail
message with your Palm Modem.
