H NUMERIC MODE [123]
Numeric mode allows you to add a number to your
entry/message. To select numeric mode from the Editor
screen press

[Abc], then select [123].
H SYMBOL MODE [Symbols]
Symbol mode allows you to add various symbols to
your entry. Whether you are adding an e-mail address
to your phone book or sending an expressive message,
symbols make these entries easier.
To select symbol mode from the Editor screen

[Abc] then choose [Symbols].
The symbols will appear on the display.
The corresponding key number for that symbol will
appear as well. You can press the key to select the
symbol.
To move to the next screen of symbols press

H TEXT INPUT METHODS
Press each key once for each letter of the word you
are writing.
To write John with the English dictionary selected:
1. Press 5 once - (for - K)
2. Press 6 once - (for - Km)
3. Press 4 once - (for - Log)
4. Press 6 once - (for - John)
2. Press 6 once - (for - Km)
3. Press 4 once - (for - Log)
4. Press 6 once - (for - John)
The display will change each time a key is pressed.

If the T9 mode does not recognize or suggest the
word you want to enter, re-enter the name in the
Alpha ABC mode.
