QL Plus and RW 

Summary of Firmware Changes

This document summarizes the following QL Plus and RW firmware releases:

This firmware release includes all features of previous base version 

, except 

for the EPL and APL-I emulations. Customers who need these features should not use this 
version of the firmware.

It is for use with the following printer models: 

• QL 420 Plus (Q4C-XXXXXXXX-XX)

• QL 320 Plus (Q3C-XXXXXXXX-XX)

• QL 220 Plus (Q2C-XXXXXXXX-XX)

• RW 420 (R4A-XXXXXXXX-XX)

• RW 220 (R2A-XXXXXXXX-XX)

• Bluetooth 2.0:  Improved BT throughput on the RW by removing credit limits.

• Added support for the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) for use with mirror, see below 

for instructions.

• Added support to shutdown active Bluetooth connection when “device.reset” command is 

issued.

• Added Event and roam logging

• Netmanage: Added AMC 4.4 support

This firmware does not run on the older QL (H8 based) series printers 

(QXA-XXXXXXXX-XX or QXB-XXXXXXXX-XX).
