Using Your Dell Venue Smartphone

To call a number with an extension

Type the number to call using the on-screen dialpad.

Touch and hold the asterisk key on the dialpad until “,” appears.

Type the extension.

Touch 

 to make the call.

To make an international call

Touch and hold the number 0 key on the dialpad until "+" appears.

Enter the country code, area code, and phone number.

Touch 

 to make the call.

To listen to your voicemail

Touch and hold the number 1 key on the dialpad to call your voicemail 
box.

 

NOTE: 

If no voicemail number is stored on your SIM card, you will be 

prompted to enter a number. Touch Add number to enter and save your 
voicemail number.

Touch to call your voicemail box.

Touch to call the typed number.

Touch to clear an incorrect number.

10 Touch a call record to view the call information, call or send a message 

to the caller, or save or view the caller in Contacts. For more 
information on using Contacts, see "Managing Contacts" on page 51.

Touch to call a desired phone number or contact from the call log.
