Using a Flash Drive with the PC Free 
You can connect a USB flash drive to the PC Free to transfer files to or from the PC Free. You can 
also view files or presentations directly from an inserted flash drive. The PC Free supports most flash 
drives and installs drivers automatically. Refer to the following to use a flash drive with the PC Free: 
1.
Start the PC Free. 
2.
Plug the flash drive into one of the 
USB connectors on the rear of the PC 
Free.

3.
Double-click the My Computer icon 
on the desktop.  
The flash drive is shown as Hard 
Disk2

Note: Some flash drives are detected 
in a few seconds; others more than 20 
seconds. You may need to close the 
Explorer window and open it again to 
see the Hard Disk2 folder.
 
4.
Double-click the Hard Disk2 folder to 
show the files on the flash drive.  
5.
Double-click a file to open it. 
You can also copy files to and from 
the PC Free. 
 
Windows CE .NET File Viewing Restrictions 
The following restrictions for viewing or opening certain files on the Windows CE .NET platform 
should be noted. 
1. Microsoft Office Viewer has limitations when viewing some types of WORD, EXCEL, 
POWERPOINT, or PDF files. Refer to the link below for details.

2. Windows CE .NET does not have the same fonts as Windows-based desktop platforms. If the 
original font is not available, the Windows CE .NET file viewers show the closest possible approxima-
