Coplanar Alignment

Verifying that fences are coplanar
1. Remove the guard and spindle attachment.

against the fence castings (K, Fig. 8). At the
same time, attempt to bring both fences into
alignment as shown in Figure 9. This is
accomplished by alternately making

(M, Fig. 10) on the front face of the casting (L,
Fig. 10) with a 3mm hex wrench, followed by
repositioning the casting with the ram adjust
dial (Q, Fig. 10) as required.
