Using the Timer:
The timer allows you to program a determined cooking time, after which the cooktop
will turn itself off.
1.  To use the timer, follow steps 1 to 4 of the “How to Use Your Fagor Induction
Cooktop” section. Once you have set the desired cooking level, press the TIMER
button once. The -:-- sign will turn into a blinking “0”.
2.  Tap on the PLUS button to increase the programmed time minute by minute. Or,
tap and keep your fi nger pressed on the PLUS button to increase the time in 10
minute increments. The timer will keep adding 10 minutes until it reaches “3:00”
(3 hours), after which it will return to “0”. If you want to decrease the time, press
the MINUS button.

Once you have selected the desired cooking time, the displayed time will stop
blinking and the timer will start.
3.
To change the programmed time, press the TIMER button again once, and use the
PLUS /MINUS buttons to change the time. To stop the timer, press and hold the
TIMER button. The light beside the TIMER button will turn off.
Default cooking times:
The cooktop has an automatic shutdown feature that will turn the cooktop off auto-
matically after a certain period of cooking time, as a safety measure in case the cook-
top is left on accidentally.
The time varies with the cooking level:
Level 1:
max. 4 hours
Level 2:
max. 4 hours
Level 3:
max. 3 hours
Level 4:
max. 3 hours
Level 5:
max. 2 hours
Level 6:
max. 2 hours
You can override this default setting by programming the Timer. If you want to keep
using the cooktop after the default cooking time you can do so by pressing the ON/
OFF and the POWER buttons, although we recommend that you let the unit cool down
before using it again.
