The Photo Setup functions are 

illustrated in the following section:

Selecting “ON” will display the photo thumbnails using the original thumbnail files cre-

ated by the digital camera and stored within the memory card. This process will make 

displaying thumbnails of large photos in a short time. (factory default mode)

Selecting “OFF” will display the photo thumbnails by decoding the photo and scaling 

down to fit into the display area allocated for the thumbnail. This process may take a 

longer time if the photos are of high resolutions (big files).

Selecting “AUTO” will display the photo in the orientation specified by the orientation bit 

contained within the photo file (factory default mode).

Selecting “MANUAL”  will ignore the orientation bit specification

Selecting “WIDE MODE” will cause the photo to enlarge to fit the screen, either to the 

top and bottom or the left and right sides. If the photo is taller than it is wide (portrait 

aspect ratio) it will enlarge to the top and bottom of the screen.  If the photo is wider 

than it is tall (landscape) it will enlarge to the left and right sides. Selecting  “DEFAULT” 

will display photos in the original image. (factory default mode)
