The Garmin Training Center 

software is included in the Edge 

product box. Locate the Garmin 

Training Center installation 

disk and use it to install Garmin 

Training Center on your personal 

computer.
Garmin Training Center software 

allows you to overlay your 

ride data onto a map. It offers 

interactive analysis tools that 

measure your speed, distance, 

climb, and descent against 

varying terrain, elevation and 

more. Create and schedule 

custom courses and workouts 

or use workout templates and 

download them to the Edge.

1.  Insert the Garmin Training 

Center installation disk 

into your computer’s disk 

drive. Your computer should 

automatically run the start-up 

file and display a welcome 

screen.

2.  If the welcome screen does 

not appear, click 

Start and 

then click 

Run…. Type in the 

drive letter of your disk drive 

followed by “setup” (example: 

D:\setup). Then press 

Enter.

3.  When the welcome screen 

appears, follow the on-screen 

instructions to install Garmin 

Training Center.
