Changing the menu setting
Setting the mode of each item
Menu items that can be modified differ depending on the setting of the MODE
selector. The LCD screen shows only the items you can operate at the moment.
Initial settings are indicated in bold letters.
Items in STILL/MOVIE mode
SELF TIMER
Select this item to record with the self-timer. (page 38)
EFFECT
<NEG. ART/SEPIA/B&W/SOLARIZE>
• Select NEG. ART to record the image color reversed.
• Select SEPIA to record sepia image.
• Select B&W to record monochrome image.
• Select SOLARIZE to record illustrational image.
FILE
FORMAT <OK/CANCEL>
• Select OK to format a “Memory Stick”.
• Select CANCEL to cancel formatting a “Memory Stick”.
FILE NUMBER <SERIES/NORMAL>
• Select SERIES to put numbers to files in sequence even if the “Memory Stick” is
changed.
• Select NORMAL to reset the numbering of files each time the “Memory Stick” is
changed.

• Select VOICE to record a still image and sound together besides a JPEG file.
• Select E-MAIL to record a 320 
×
 240 JPEG file besides the JPEG file you selected
in IMAGE SIZE.
• Normally select NORMAL. A JPEG file is recorded in selected image size.
