Picture Gift
You can exchange an image stored on this 
camera with other DSC-G1s connected via 
a wireless connection.

In playback mode, press WLAN.
When a nickname has not been entered, the 
nickname setting display appears (page 90).
•  This step can be done by going to [
(Communication) 
t [
 Picture Gift] 
from the home display.

After message “Press WLAN 
button on other device at same 
time” appears, press WLAN 
simultaneously.
“Connecting...” appears. Once the connection 
is established, the mode selection screen 
appears.

Select a Picture Gift mode, then 
press 
z.
[Give Image]: Image sending mode
[Get Image]: Image receiving mode
The share image screen or the image receiving 
screen appears.

To connect a third device, 
simultaneously press WLAN of 
either the first or the second 
device along with that of the third 
device.

To connect a fourth device, 
simultaneously press WLAN of 
one of the first three devices 
along with that of the fourth 
device.
To select an image to be made public
Select the image to be made public with the 
control button, then press z. The image is 
indicated with the 
M mark, and the process 
of making the image accessible to other 
users begins.
When the user granting access selects an 
image to be shared, the device on the 
receiving side displays the image in the 
index display area.
To cancel this operation, select the image 
again, then press z. The 
M mark disappears 
from the image.
To send all the images in an album
Select the frame of the album with the 
control button (page 25). The process of 
making all of the images in the album 
accessible to other users begins.
