To output the DVD video while
listening to other source
(CD/radio etc.) (only when
using Ai-NET)
When the DHA-S680 is connected to an Ai-NET
compatible head unit or Ai-NET compatible AV
head unit, the DVD video can be output
independently on the monitor.
If the rear monitor is connected, the DVD video
and audio can be output independently on the
rear monitor.
For example, the DVD video can be output on the
front or rear monitor, while listening to the CD/
radio from the head unit.

in the AV head unit or front monitor’s owner’s
manual to set to AUX 1.
NOTES
• When DHA-S680 is connected to AUX1.
• When connecting the DVD player (DVA-5205), be
sure to connect the DVA-5205’s video output/audio
output to the AV head unit’s or Front monitor’s
AUX1. Connect the DHA-S680’s video output/audio
output to the AUX2.

Change the source on the head unit or AV head
unit’s to CD or radio, etc.

AV head unit or front monitor’s owner’s manual to
watch AUX1 with the V.SEL button.

Press and hold the V.OUT button on the remote
control unit for this unit for at least 2 seconds.
You can watch the DVD/video CD.
Tips
• Watching the DVD/video CD with
CVA-1005/IVA-C800

Change the CVA-1005/IVA-C800’s
source side to CD changer.
The DHA-S680 turns ON.

Use the “Playing 2 Sources
Simultaneously” function on the
CVA-1005/IVA-C800 to select AUX1
with the V.SEL button.

Press and hold the V.OUT button on
the remote control unit for this
equipment at least 2 seconds.
You can watch the DVD/video CD.

After using this function, be sure to
press and hold the V.OUT button for at
least 2 seconds to cancel the video
output mode.

After using this function, press 
and hold
 the
V.OUT button for at least 2 seconds to
cancel the video output mode.
If the power or the ignition key is
turned off without canceling the
video output mode, the set will start
up in the video output mode the
next time the power is turned on,
and the DHA-S680’s power will
remain on even if the source is
switched with the head unit/AV head
unit or if you try to turn off the
power with the DHA-S680’s remote
control unit.
If this happens, press the V.OUT
button for at least 2 seconds to
cancel the video output mode.
NOTES
• Also refer to the Owner’s Manual of the other
product connected.
• If the monitor has no rear monitor select function, the
rear monitor cannot be connected.
