Searching by
elapsed time
Use this function to search by specifying
the elapsed time.
DVD
CD
Video CD
During playback, press “GO TO”.
The mode switches each time the button
is pressed.  Select “TIME”.
Input the elapsed time
from which you want to
start playback using the
number keys (“0” to
“9”).

(Input the hours first, followed by
the minutes, then the seconds.)
Notes:
• To input the elapsed time, the “+10” key is not
used. Use the number keys “0” to “9”.
• Press “CLR” to delete the last digit in the elapsed
time. Press “CLR” for at least 2 seconds to erase
all the set times.
• Press “RTN” to cancel the elapsed time search
mode and resume normal playback.
• With DVDs, the precision of the elapsed time
search function differs from disc to disc.
• With video discs containing playback control
(PBC), function of “searching  by elapsed time” is
not available under the PBC ON status.  Press
“MENU” to turn the PBC function off.
