A filter is installed in the cooling ventilation slots on the right side of the printer. If this

filter becomes congested, the printer’s interior may not be adequately cooled, which
could result in a printer fault. Please check the filter regularly and, if it is congested,

clean it using the procedure below.

Turn off the printer, using the power switch.

Remove dust, etc. from the filter using a soft brush, vacuum cleaner or similar item.

When cleaning the filter, take care not to damage it.
