Responding to Error Messages
An internal ROM check error.
If this error persists, call for service.
An internal DRAM error.
If this error persists, call for service.
An NVRAM error.
Performing a cold reset (see page 54). If this error persists, call for
service.
An SRAM error in the AIR chip.
If this error persists, call for service.
You are pressing the Go button when you turn the printer on (see
page 54). The printer is ready to perform a cold reset and restore
the factory default settings.
Release the Go button to perform the cold reset.
The context saving items (PCL SAVE or PS3 SAVE) in the
MEMCONFIG MENU have been adjusted automatically by the
printer operating system.
This message is displayed when the printer has been turned on with the
context saving feature enabled.  However, due to manual changes to the
printer control panel, there is not enough memory to support the setup.
Press Go to continue operation.
You have pressed Go to go on-line after adjusting the context
saving feature. The printer is allocating enough memory for the
context save feature.
Press Go to enable the new setting and resume operation.
The cassette is not in the printer or is not correctly positioned.
Install the indicated paper cassette in the printer. If the paper cassette
is in the printer, remove, insert it again and ensure it is securely in
position.
The fixing roller is cleaning.
Follow the instructions on page 155 to clean the fixing assembly using
the operation panel menus.
