Clearing Paper Jams
• When removing the jammed paper, be careful not to touch the transfer
charging roller. If the roller becomes dirty, the print quality will

Pull the paper out by scraping the front out with your fingers, as shown in the diagram.

Then gently set the transfer guide back to its original position e.

• If you install the toner cartridge without closing the transfer guide, the
printer and the tonner cartridge will be damaged.
• Be sure not to lift the cassette when sliding it in, as this may cause damage
to the tracks.
