Printing a Test Print
Printing a Test Print
Print a Test Print when you need to visually check the current configuration of the
printer. The Test Print has two important functions:
Listing all the current menu settings.  If no settings have been changed on the printer,
you will see the factory default settings.
Listing other important system information, such as the amount of memory in the
printer (RAM size), total page count for the printer, version and revision numbers,
etc.
Follow this procedure to start a Test Print for the current personality.

Press 
Go
 to take the printer off-line. The On Line indicator should go off. PAUSED
will appear in the display.

Press 
Menu
 until you see TEST MENU in the top line.

Press 
Item
 until you see TEST PRINT in the bottom line.

Press 
Enter
 to start printing the Test Print.
After the pages are printed, press 
Go
 to put the printer back on-line.
