Positioning
“All satellites are equipped with full-range drivers and bass
reflex ports. The dedicated center speaker comes with a
specially designed stand for safe horizontal positioning,
without risk of tilt or slip. Connecting the speaker wires
is easy, no matter which method you prefer: even thicker
wires and ”bananas” can be fixed at the Heavy-duty bind-
ing posts. The powered subwoofer is using well-rounded
cones instead of ”spikes” for better protection of the floor.
A certain distance from the floor is needed because the
bass reflex port is located underneath. Multiple controls
and connectors on the rear side are showing the concept
of combination versatility of the Swedish manufacturer. ”

“HiFi music reproduction with Steely Dan at the begin-
ning, followed by Tchaikovsky’s ”Nutcracker” - although
this is not the noblest job of a surround set, the Avantek
sextet performed well, as long as the level control of the
SUB + has been kept below its 12-o’clock position. Later,
viewing ”Damned Sunday”, the level control could be
turned up more broad-minded in order to have a more
realistic impact of the football players. Also the ”vocal”
reproduction gained from the excellent choice of the full
range drivers. The Audio Pro system showed a smooth
overall frequency response - better than other satellite /
subwoofer systems that offer much bass and much treble,
