Output settings
The Output settings (width and height) represent the dimensions of the image
when it is output (to either monitor or printer). If the size of the image to be
output is different from the size of the original source image, adjust the scaling
percentage, or manually increase / decrease the output values accordingly.
If you wish, you can also choose from a
menu of predefined Scaling settings. To do
this, click the arrow after “Output” (the
second element of the output equation in
the Settings window), and choose the setting
you wish from the menu that appears.

the current Output setting as a frequently
used dimension in subsequent scans, click
“Add” to save and add the setting to the
menu after designating it with a reference
name. You can delete the customized setting
by clicking on “Remove.”
Image Size
The Image Size field indicates how big the
file will be when you accept the dimensions
shown in the edit boxes, together with the resolution setting that you have
selected. Size is calculated automatically.
Unit of Measurement
The Unit of Measurement lets you select the desired unit (inch,
cm, mm, point, pica, pixel) for your image dimensions. This will
also affect the ruler measurement in the Preview window.
IMPORTANT:::::  Make sure you select the correct unit of measurement
before you enter any of the values for width or height in the Scan Frame Settings or
Output Settings.
