Service Pack 1 for Rimage Producer Software
Suite Versions 6.5 - 7.5

Rimage Producer Software Suite 6.5 – 7.5 Service Pack 1 includes a critical update.
Rimage recommends that you install this service pack at your earliest convenience.

This document describes the changes made in Rimage Producer Software Suite versions 6.5 -
7.5, Service Pack 1.

Compatibility

Service Pack 1 is compatible only with:

•  Producer Software Suite version 6.5 (Minimum requirement)
•  Producer Software Suite version 7.1
•  Producer Software Suite version 7.2
•  Producer Software Suite version 7.3
•  Producer Software Suite version 7.4
•  Producer Software Suite version 7.5

Changes to Rimage Software Suite Components

Support and Functionality Provided

All versions:

• Added support for the AD-5170A drive.

Production Server

Version 6.5

• Resolved issue with not being able to set DVD-R speed back to maximum once it was

manually reduced. (Rimage reference #5610)

Version 7.1

• Resolved issue with allowing DVD recording speed to exceed 16x when the recording speed

parameter is set to 16x. (Rimage reference #6652)

Version 7.2

• Resolved an issue where, if performing job streaming and the network connection is lost, the

system may not recognize that subsequent discs produced are corrupt or unreadable.

Version 7.3

• Resolved issue resulting in a PCL validation error when printer is in a “Ribbon Out”

condition.(Rimage reference #6679)
