To create a new source file from the Project tab

Right-click the project name in the Project tab.

Select New file. A blank source file opens in the edit region.
Adding the Source File to the Project
Now that you have a new empty project and source files, you need to add
the source files to the project. You can add source files from the Project
menu or from the Project tab.

To add source files into the project from the Project menu

Select Project > Add to Project. An Open File dialog box appears.

Select the source files and click Open. The files are added to the project.

To confirm the result of adding files, select Option > Project Setting.
