Notes on Handling the
Equipment
The pen computer components are vulnerable to damage from static
electricity. When handling or connecting any of the equipment, ob-

Storing the battery packs
The lithium ion batteries used in the battery packs suffer a clear deteri-
oration in performance if they are exposed to high temperatures for an
extended period of time. These batteries should be stored in a cool,
dry location.
In order to prevent the batteries from deteriorating, they should be
charged at least once every six months, even if they are not going to be
used.
