To create another note, tap the New Note button.

Sticky Notes can only be viewed one at a time, in order of date
created. Sticky Notes can only be deleted one at a time.

In order to use the Tablet PC features in these applications, you
must obtain the Microsoft Office XP Pack for Tablet PC. This is
available only from Microsoft’s website. If you use the pen to
write in Microsoft Word or Excel, and you are sharing the file
with another user who does not have Windows XP Tablet Edi-
tion, they will be able to see the ink comments if they are using
Office 95 or newer versions. However they will not be able to do
anything with the document such as editing in ink, etc.

Speech recognition is also a component of Tablet PC. Speech
recognition allows users to dictate content or control applica-
tions with their voice. An external microphone is required. The
Tablet PC Platform SDK, in conjunction with the Microsoft
Speech API (SAPI), can be used to extend capabilities to third-
party applications.

You can easily monitor your battery to see how much power you
have available while you are working away from your desk.

To check your battery power if you are running on battery pow-
er, double-tap the battery icon in the notification area of the
Windows taskbar. The battery icon appears only when your
Tablet PC is running on battery power.

You can monitor your battery as it charges to see when it is fully
charged.

On the taskbar, tap the Start button, and then Control Pan-
el.

Tap Performance and Maintenance, and then tap Power
Options.

Tap the Power Meter tab.

Total battery power remaining is shown under Power status.
