Before using the battery pack, please read this instruction sheet thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
Battery Pack for an Intrinsically Safe Terminal
This battery pack forms part of an Intrinsically Safe system. It is intended for use only with Intermec
Technologies Corporation Model T2425, IS2425 bar code terminal. Use of this battery pack with any other
terminal invalidates its intrinsically safe rating.
Danger
Risk of explosion. This battery pack must NOT be changed or charged while in a potentially
hazardous location.
Charging the Battery Pack
 
You must use the TRAKKER Antares TZ2400 or Z2400 Battery Charger to recharge your battery pack.
 
You must fully charge your battery pack prior to using it in your terminal.
 
Usually a battery pack is fully charged in less than three hours.
 
Remove the battery pack from the charger within 24 hours after charging is complete.
 
Battery packs can be charged after partial discharge without affecting the original battery capacity.
Note: Although the Intermec battery pack looks similar to commercially available video camera
battery packs, it will not fit in other battery chargers.
 
Caution
Use only an Intermec TZ2400 or Z2400 Battery Charger to recharge the Intermec battery pack
(P/N 068868). Recharging this battery pack with any other charger could result in damage to
the battery pack.
Disposal Instructions
This product contains a lithium-ion battery. Do not mix with the solid waste stream. Spent
batteries should be disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler.
If you are unsure of how to properly dispose of this battery pack, contact your authorized Intermec
Service Center for disposal or recycling information.
 
Dispose of used battery packs promptly.
 
Discarded battery packs may create a safety hazard. Before disposal, tape the battery pack contact
terminals with electrical insulating tape.
