Compression

minimum amount of space on the target media drive. If you enable
compression, you can select one of nine different compression levels,
from low to high. Low provides the least compression; high uses
maximum compression but adds to the time required to back up data.
Default is no compression. Professional Edition only.
Use Encryption
Password-protects backup files against unauthorized individuals.
Default is decryption is disabled. Professional Edition only.
File Revision
Specifies the maximum number of file versions that can be saved.
Default is disabled. Professional Edition only.
Saving to log
Saves information about backup operations in the StorageSync log.
Default is enabled.
Reminder
Automatically reminds you to backup data based on the number of user-
specified days. Default is disabled.

Incremental or Full Backup
Under Backup Options, you can select whether the backup operation is to be incremental or
full. An incremental backup only backs up selected files that are new or have been changed
since the last backup; this saves time when backing up files. A full backup backs up all the
files you select, without checking for previous backups.
!

You can use both incremental and full backups together. For example, you can
perform a full backup every month, with incremental backups each week.
