9. Shrink the rectangle to cover the area you want to enable or disable for motion detection.

Each press of the ENTER button will cycle each area through three modes: enable, disable, toggle. (All
enabled sub-areas will be disabled and disabled sub-areas will become enabled.)

Target Zone
The Manual setting allows you to set up each area as described in the preceding steps.
The Automatic setting would allow the system to detect motion and enable the detected motion area. To become
familiar with this setting (while viewing this menu), place a camera next to the EDVR. Disable the whole area, and
then move your hand in front of the camera. All detected motion will enable the dots.

Track Detect
Use the shuttle ring to adjust values to Up, Down, Left, or Right to indicate which direction of motion you want to
track. For example, in a grocery store, if you want to start recording when someone comes in but not record his
exit, set Track Detect to Up if the camera is facing the door which is on the top of the screen.
