• When you rotate the zoom lever towards 

[

] after the picture is enlarged, the 

magnification becomes lower. When you 
rotate the zoom lever towards [

], the 

magnification becomes higher.

• When you change the magnification, the 

zoom position indication 

A appears for 

about 1 second to check the position of 
the section enlarged.

• When you press the [MENU] button, the 

magnification reverts to 1

k.

• When you move the position to be 

displayed, the zoom position indication 
is displayed for about 1 second.

∫ To delete a picture during playback 

Press the [

] button.

When the confirmation screen appears, 
press 

4 to select [YES], and press 1.

• When you use the zoom function on 

rotated pictures, they are not displayed in 
the rotated direction (P71).

• The more the picture is enlarged, the 

more its quality deteriorates.

• The playback zoom may not operate if 

pictures have been recorded with other 
equipment.

• Even if the indications on the screen are 

turned off in normal playback mode (P28), 
the magnification and enabled operations 
appear on the screen when the playback 
zoom is activated.

• You can switch whether you turn the 

indications on the LCD monitor on or off 
by pressing the [DISPLAY] button.
When you set the magnification to 1

k, the 

indications on the LCD monitor are 
displayed as in normal playback mode.
