  5 MINUTES   :  Power shuts off if the unit is not operated for about 
5 minutes. To resume the unit use, set the mode 
dial to [OFF] and then the desired mode position.

AUDIO REC
Set the Audio Recording Mode.
In this unit, the Audio Mode cannot be changed after recording, 
but if VideoCam Suite provided with the unit is used, sound can 
be recorded on DVD discs using [DOLBY] or on SD cards using 
[MPEG].
  DOLBY   :  This audio system setting is suited to saving 
the data which has been recorded on SD cards, 
onto DVD discs using a DVD burner.
MPEG :     This audio system setting is suited to playing back 
sound on a device which meets the SD-Video standard.

BEEP SOUND
Allow operations such as starting and ending recording to be 
signaled by a beep.

Beep:         • When recording starts or power is turned on
               • When a computer or printer is recognized
Beep-Beep:  • When recording stops or power is shut off

               •  If an error that prevents recording occurs, etc. Check

DEMO MODE
Display an introduction to the unit (Demonstration Mode).
The demonstration stops when any operation except pressing the 
[iA] or [MANUAL AF/MF] button is performed, but it will resume if no 
operations are performed for approx. 10 or more minutes.
OFF :  [OFF] is normally set.
  ON   :  When the AC adaptor is connected without an SD 
card having been inserted, the demonstration starts, 
and it stops when an SD card is inserted.
