Energy Star is a joint program of the US Environmental Protection Agency and the
U.S. Department of Energy. It is administered in Canada by Natural Resources
Canada (NRC) through the Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE). This program is
helping to protect the environment and save money through energy efficient
products and practices. This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR in the “Home
Use” setting and this is the setting in which energy savings will be achieved. Any
modifications to the “Home Use” setting or other factory default settings could
result in greater energy consumption beyond levels that meet ENERGY STAR
qualifications.
