Battery recharge
Making/answering calls, intercom
Problem
Cause/solution
I fully charged the 
batteries, but 7 
continues to flash.

Clean the charge contacts and charge again 
(page 11).

The batteries may need to be replaced with a 
new ones (page 10).
I fully charged the 
batteries, but the operating 
time seems to be short.

Wipe the battery ends (S, T) and the unit 
contacts with a dry cloth.
The handset display is 
blank.

Confirm that the batteries are properly installed.

communicate for some reason, such as 
interference from other electrical appliances. 
Perform the following:
– Move the handset and base unit away from 
other electrical appliances.
– Move closer to the base unit.
Static is heard, sound cuts 
in and out. Interference 
from other electrical units.

If your unit is connected to a telephone line with 
DSL service, we recommend connecting a noise 
filter between the base unit and the telephone 
line jack. Contact your DSL provider for details.
The handset does not ring.

The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust it (page

The dialing mode may be set incorrectly. 
Change the setting (page 14).
