Intercom Features

Handset locator
You can locate a misplaced handset by 
paging it from the base unit.
For KX-TG2421 users
1
Base unit:
Press {HANDSET LOCATOR} to page 
the handset.
L
The IN USE indicator will flash 
rapidly.
L
The handset will beep for 1minute.

Base unit:
To stop paging, press {HANDSET 
LOCATOR}.
OR
Handset:
To stop paging, press {OFF}.
For KX-TG2422 users

Base unit: 
Press {HANDSET LOCATOR
1} or 
{
HANDSET LOCATOR
2} to page the 
handset.

The IN USE indicator will flash

The handset will beep for 1minute.

Base unit:
To stop paging, press {HANDSET 
LOCATOR
1}, or {HANDSET 
LOCATOR
2}.
OR
Handset:
To stop paging, press {OFF}. 
Intercom (KX-TG2422 
only)
Intercom calls can be made between 2 
handsets.
Note:
L
If you have difficulty hearing the other 
party while using the speaker, decrease 
the speaker volume.
L
If you receive a phone call while talking 
on the intercom, you will hear 2 tones 
(page 35). To answer the call, press 
{
OFF}, then press {C} or {s}.
L
You cannot change the ringer tone for 
intercom calls.
Example: When handset 1 calls handset 2.

Handset 1:
Press {INTERCOM}.
L
The paged handset will beep for 1 
minute.
L
To stop paging, press {OFF}.

Handset 2:
Press {C}, {s}, or {INTERCOM} to 
answer.

When finished talking, press {OFF} or 
place the handset on the base unit or 
charger.
