Cordless Telephone
Answering Calls
When a call is received, the unit rings and “
Incoming call
” is
displayed. If you subscribe to a Caller ID service, the calling party
information will be displayed after the first ring (p. 34). 
In order to view the Caller ID information, please wait until the
second ring to answer a call.
(Cordless\Handset)

You can also answer a call by pressing any dialing

You can select the ringer volume while a call
is being received. Press

Auto Talk

(p. 19), you can answer a call by lifting the
cordless handset off the charger without

You can answer a call by simply lifting the handset. To hang up, place the
handset on the cradle.
Using the speakerphone

You can select the ringer volume while a call is being received. Press

while the base unit is just ringing. To set to OFF, press and hold

When the cordless handset and base unit ringer volumes are set to OFF, they
will not ring (p. 20).
