Introduction to Route
Capacity
In an actual network application, a routing table may contain a large quantity of
route entries (especially OSPF routes and BGP routes). Generally, the routing
information is stored in the memory of the switch and the total size of the switch
memory will not change. When the size of the routing table increases to some
degree, it may affect the operation of the system. To avoid the occurring of this
case, you can set the specifications of routing tables and VRFs (VPN routing and
forwarding instances) in the current system; and the system will inhibit any card
that below any of the settings from working.
