Usage Guide
Introduction
This guide provides the information and guidelines that should be 
used when selecting papers or other materials to be used in a 5760/
5765 Digital Color Copier/Printer. The feeding reliability and the 
performance characteristics that can be expected from the 5760/
5765 when using the specified paper stocks and other selected 
materials are also provided.  In addition, techniques related to the 
use of these specific materials are given.
The first section, Recommended Materials,
 contains a chart 
which lists all materials that are recommended for use in the 5760/
5765. Following this chart, a second section, Usage Guidelines, 
includes guidelines for selecting and using various materials, such 
as transparencies, heavy-weight paper, and the transfer paper used 
for T-shirts.
The third section, Applications, provides step-by-step procedures 
to use when running certain types of jobs.
The fourth section, About Paper, gives you information about 
some of the properties of paper that are important to the operation of 
the 5760/5765 and the quality of the copies produced. 
The last section, Paper Storage, provides useful tips for the proper 
handling and storage of paper.
Xerox has an on-going materials testing program for the 5760/5765. 
As new information, materials, or recommendations become 
available, they will be included in revisions to this guide. Your Xerox 
representative may also advise you of materials usage information 
before it can be included in a revision to this guide.
