Phaser 300X Color Printer
Printing with PCL5
In PCL5 mode (HP LaserJet III emulation), the printer supports Courier, 
Times, and Universe typefaces in the following styles and stroke weights: 
bold medium, italic medium, and bold italic.
To use a PCL5 application, you must customize PCL5 and set up a printer 
port with the appropriate automatic language selection utility file (refer to 
the Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for information about 
utility files).
Printing with HP-GL
1.
Change the printer’s language from PostScript to HP-GL.  (Refer 
to the Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for details 
on how to change the language.)
2.
Set up the printing options in your HP-GL application by selecting 
a printer driver that supports the HP 7475A plotter.
3.
Print from your HP-GL application as usual.
Printing PostScript
Change the printer’s language from HP-GL to PostScript.  (Refer to the 
Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for details on how to 
change the language.)
