Cleaning the fuser rollers
If you are using shiny or smooth paper, you may occasionally see spots of 
ink in the white portion of the printed image, or you may notice that areas of 
the image are missing.  These print defects can indicate that ink is being 
transferred from the printed paper to the fuser roller.
To correct the problem, first try these quick steps:

Use a less shiny type of paper.
2.
Make several test prints on standard office Bond paper (laser 
printer or photocopy paper).  To do this, press the 
TEST PRINT
 
button on the front panel.  Be sure to load the paper so that the 
long side of the paper enters the printer first, as shown.
You should see a repeating pattern of ink spots on the blank part 
of the paper, indicating that the ink has transferred from the fuser 
onto the paper.
