Use this command to configure SLP
settings.
You can search the NetWare server
using SLP in the PureIP environment
of NetWare5/5.1, 6. To use the slp
command, you can configure the val-
ue of TTL that can be used by the SLP
multi-cast-packet.
Note
❒ The default value of TTL is “1”. A
search is executed only within a lo-
cal segment. If the router does not
support multi-cast, the settings are
not available even if the TTL value
is increased.
❒ The acceptable TTL value is 1 - 255.
msh> slp ttl {1 - 255}
Setting IEEE 802.11b
Use the wiconfig command to config-
ure IEEE 802.11b settings.
Limitation
❒ You can make settings when in-
stalling the optional 802.11b inter-
face kit.
❖ View settings
The following command displays
the current IEEE 802.11b settings.
msh> wiconfig
The IEEE 802.11b card information
is displayed.
msh> wiconfig cardinfo
Note
❒ If the IEEE 802.11b interface is
not working correctly, the IEEE
802.11b card information is not
displayed.
