Power CONNECTIONS

The +12V and Ground wires must be 0 AWG or larger. Using smaller wire than 4 gauge will
cause excessive heat and melt the wire insulation. In addition, the +12V remote control wire must
between 12-16AWG.

!!! CAUTION !!!

In order for this competition amplifier to perform correctly, a investigation of the vehicle
electrical system must be made to ensure proper safety requirements are met. This amplifier can
draw in excess of 400A of current under normal operation. An aftermarket alternator and/or
additional deep cycle batteries are required in order to safely power this amplifier.  Failure to do
so will result in destroying your vehicles electrical charging system. Please have a certified
MECP installer review the electrical charging system of your vehicle before attempting to install
this amplifier on your own. If you have any questions about this precaution, please review your
owner’s manual for more information.

+12V Power

This wire is connected directly to the positive battery terminal of a battery. Ensure that the +12V
cable is fused with a minimum of a 300 amp in line fuse. The +12V wire must be 0 AWG or larger

Ground
This connection must be completed using spade lug with insulating sleeve. This wire is the
electrical ground and must be fastened securely to the vehicle’s chassis. The best method is to use
a threading sheet metal screw or a existing large factory bolt. Ensure that all paint coating or other
insulation is removed from bolt area. Always use the  least amount of cable as possible. The
Ground wire must be 0 AWG or larger.

Remote
Many aftermarket head units have a remote turn on lead for turning on amplifiers. If your head
unit does not have a remote turn-on lead, please contact the manufacturer of your head unit for
other options when installing additional amplifiers.

Caution
The +12V and Ground wires must be 0 AWG or larger. Using smaller wire than 4 gauge will
cause excessive heat and melt the wire insulation. In addition, the +12V remote control wire must
between 12-16AWG. Always connect the +12V wire first followed by the Ground wire and finally
the remote wire. Furthermore the +12V wire must always be  fused at the battery for protection
against possible damage.

Amp Configuration

WIRING SUBWOOFERS

When using a single amplifier to power one subwoofer, the Positive and negative terminal of the
Subwoofers voice coil is connected the positive and negative terminal of the Amplifier.

CAUTION

Always check your speaker load with a multi-meter before hooking up to the amplifier.
These digital amplifiers are only 2 ohm stable. Any Impedance (load) smaller than 2 ohm will
damage the amplifier. Such Damage is not covered under warranty either, so pay strict attention to
what connections are made to the amplifier.
