[e SHOOT & SELECT1]/[f SHOOT & SELECT2]

• These scene modes allow you to take sequential pictures by holding down the shutter 

button. After shooting the pictures, select the ones you want to erase by marking them with 
a R and press 

f/S to erase them.

[Y  PRE-CAPTURE MOVIE]

• After the scene mode is fixed, the total of 7 seconds, from 2 seconds before pressing the 

shutter button until 5 seconds after pressing the shutter button, are recorded as a movie. 

• Sound is not recorded.
• AF target mark is not displayed.
• The optical zoom and auto focus function are available during movie recording.
• For [IMAGE QUALITY] settings, select [IMAGE SIZE] from [C] or [E], and 

[FRAME RATE] from [N] or [O]. 

NON-WATER MOVIE

Suitable for recording movies out of water. The optical zoom 
is not available during movie recording but the sound can be 
recorded.

UNDERWATER MOVIE

Suitable for recording movies under water. The optical zoom 
is available during movie recording but the sound cannot be 
recorded.

AUTO

The white balance is adjusted automatically for natural color, 
regardless of the light source.

For shooting under tungsten lighting.

Fluorescent lamp 1

For shooting under daylight fluorescent lamp. (This type of 
lamp is mainly used in homes.)

For shooting under a neutral white fluorescent lamp. (This 
type of lamp is mainly used in desk lamps.)

Fluorescent lamp 3

For shooting under a white fluorescent lamp. (This type of 
lamp is mainly used in offices.)
