Powering the Transmitter
The 2.4GHz wireless transmitter runs on regular AC power or on 3 AAA batteries
(included), so you can plug it in or install the batteries and take it with you. The
choice is yours.
To install batteries in the transmitter:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of
the transmitter. Push the compartment door in the
direction of the arrow to open the compartment.
2. Insert the three AAA batteries provided. The
compartment is marked to show how the batteries
should be oriented. Make sure to follow these
markings, with the + and – ends in the correct
positions.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Important: Do not mix batteries with different chemistry
types (for example, a zinc battery with an alkaline battery).
Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not leave batteries
installed in the product when not in use for long periods.
Always remove old, weak or worn-out batteries promptly
and recycle or dispose of them in accordance with Local and
National Regulations.
Note: The transmitter does not recharge batteries.
To plug in the transmitter:
1. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN power
supply jack on the transmitter's back panel.
2. Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
Important: This power unit is intended to be correctly
oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
