Enhanced functions and changes
Your P800 contains some functions in addition to those
described in the User’s Guide. This publication contains a
description of these features.
The publication is valid for the Organiser revision R2A or later.
Open the flip and in Applications select
View > System information

and tap the arrows to find out which revision that is installed in
your P800.
Some changes, made after that the guide was printed, are also
described here.
For each enhanced function and change, we have written a new
section, or revised existing, using the same layout as in the
User’s Guide.
You find the new or changed sections below separate headings,
for example Phone, page 51, column 1Phone is the chapter
name and page 51, column 1 specifies that the left column on
page 51 is affected.
The page and column numbers refer to the first edition of the
English User’s Guide, R1A.

Support for TTY
Teletype (TTY) accessory, text phone, is an aid for deaf and
speech-impaired persons.
To use the TTY device together with the P800
1. Connect the TTY device to the accessories connector at the
base of the P800.
2. In Phone, go to
Edit > Preferences > TTY Accessory
 and select
the check box to set the P800 into TTY mode.
Refer to the TTY device user’s manual how to use the device. It
can be necessary to use an adaptor between the TTY device and
the P800.
You can still make normal calls with the P800 in TTY mode but
other accessories such as handsfree will not work properly.
