Viewing Images from Memory Cards 
1. The PocketPix is designed to work with Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High 
Capacity (SDHC) or MultiMediaCard (MMC) memory cards. 
2. Insert a memory card as illustrated above into the Memory Card Slot.  
3. Push the card into the Memory Card Slot beyond the case cover until you hear a 
click and release. To remove the memory card, press the card in until you hear 
a click and then release for removal from the Memory Card Slot
4. If the PocketPix is turned on when a card is inserted, the images on the memory 
card will be automatically displayed in slideshow mode. 
5. If the PocketPix is turned off when a card is installed, when turned on, the album 
will automatically display the calendar. To view the images, press the PLAY/
PAUSE
 button. The PocketPix will then display the images in slideshow mode. 
6. If you wish to control when you view the next or previously viewed image, press 
the PLAY/PAUSE button.  This will take the PocketPix out of slideshow mode. 
7. To view images one at time, press the RIGHT/NEXT button; to review the previ-
ous image press the LEFT/PREVIOUS button. 
8. To return to the slideshow mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE button once. 
 
Note: You cannot save images directly from a memory card to the PocketPix’s      
built-in memory. To save images to the built-in memory, go to:

Saving Images to the Built-in Memory  
1. Attach the USB cable to the PocketPix and USB port of your computer. 
2. Turn the PocketPix on. 
3. Insert an SD, SDHC or MMC card with images into the memory card slot. 
4. A slideshow of your images will automatically start playing. 
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once which will pause the slideshow. 
6. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button until the menu appears. 
7. Using the RIGHT/NEXT control button to scroll down to the Connect PC box. 
8. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once which will highlight yes.  
9. Then press the PLAY/PAUSE button a second time which will connect the Pocket
 
Pix to your computer. Once the unit is connected, the screen will say, USB 
 Device 
Connected and all other functions will stop. 
10. Through your computer, go to My Computer.  The PocketPix will automatically 
 
create two (2) new drives.  For example, Removable Disk (E:) and Removable 
 
Disk (F:).  Removable Disk (E:) represents the memory card that is installed. 
 
Removable Disk (F:) represents built-in memory of the PocketPix. 
11. Images can be copied from the removable Disk (E:) to the Removable Disk 
 
(F:) by copying and pasting images.  
12. In addition, images saved on your computer may be copied and pasting to the 
 
Removable Disk (F:).  
13 When completed, disconnect the USB cable from your PocketPix and restart it 
 
by turning it off and then back on.   
 
Charging 
1. Plug the large end of the provided USB cable into a USB power port. 
2. Then plug the Mini USB plug end into the Mini USB Port located at the upper left 
edge of the PocketPix. 
3. Depress the POWER/ENTER button for one (1) second to turn on the PocketPix.  
The Sunpak PocketPix start screen will come on and change automatically to 
the calendar screen within three (3) seconds. 
4. On the lower left-hand side of the screen a battery charging symbol will appear 
illustrating the charging cycle. 
5. Once charging is complete, the battery symbol will change to the Power Com-
plete (PC) symbol. 
 
Displaying Images from the Built-in Memory 
1. To view images from the built-in memory, turn on the PocketPix without a memory 
card installed.   
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE to start the slide show feature. 
 
Calendar/Clock Display 
1. When the PocketPix is turn on with or without a memory card installed, the    cal-
endar will automatically display. 
2. To return to the calendar screen while images are being displayed, press the 
POWER/ENTER button. 
 
Accessing the On-screen Menu and Calendar/Time Settings 
To access the on-screen menu or to update the calendar/time settings you must: 
1. Have a memory card inserted in the PocketPix with one or more images. 
2. Or have one or more images saved to the built-in memory.
