1-1 DVD Playback I
Preparations: 
(See the Quick Guide that came with your unit for help)
Power on the portable DVD player to begin DVD play back. If connected
with earphones/headphones or other external equipment, please power off 
any equipment requiring power before making connections.
l
 
Turn on
 the TV set and select "Video" as the TV input.
l
 Turn on
 the stereo system if the player has been 
connected to a stereo
    system.
Basic Playback 
(JD-VD736)
1.  Press <Power> to turn on the player.
2.  Slide <Open> to open the disc cover. 
3.  Place a disc in the center 
with
 
its
 label side up.
4.  Close the disc cover.
l
  If the disc does not have any menus on it, it starts playback.
l
  If the disc has one or more titles recorded on it, a menu will appear on the 
screen.
<<NOTE>>:
  Proceed with step
s
 5-6 when a menu is available on the disc.
5.  Press 
 <   /    /    /   > or number buttons to select the preferred 
title.
6.  Press 
 <Play/Sel.> to play.
Stopping Playback
 1. Press 
 <STOP> to prestop. 
 2. Press 
 <STOP> again to stop the player completely.
 
Note:  Prestop is similar to <PAUSE> except that the Prestop function will cause  
the display to produce the jWIN logo screen, rather than a still image of the movie
 being played. Press <Play/Sel.> to resume playback.
