The 

following topics provide an overview of items you can change using your phone’s Settings 

menus. 

The Wi-Fi settings menu lets you turn Wi-Fi on or off, set up and connect to available Wi-Fi 
networks, and configure advanced Wi-Fi options.

Access the Wi-Fi Settings Menu 

►  Touch Home 

 > Menu 

 > System settings > Wi-Fi. 

Advanced Wi-Fi Settings 

The advanced Wi-Fi settings menu lets you set up and manage wireless access points. 

►  Touch Home 

 > Menu 

 > System settings > Wi-Fi. 

  Touch 

 to set up a Wi-Fi Protected Setup connection by pressing the set up 

button on the router. 

  Touch 

 to add a new Wi-Fi network. 

  Touch Menu 

 > Scan to scan for available networks. 

  Touch Menu 

 > WPS Pin Entry: Allows you to set up a Wi-Fi Protected Setup 

connection by entering the PIN on your router.

 > Advanced: 

•  Network notification: Notifies you when an open Wi-Fi network is available. 

•  Secure network notification: Notifies you when a secure Wi-Fi network is 

available. 

•  Wi-Fi auto on: Enables Wi-Fi automatically. 

•  Wi-Fi auto on schedule: Enables Wi-Fi for the scheduled period. 

•  Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: Stays connected to Wi-Fi when the screen goes to 

sleep to conserve mobile data usage.
