Screen Proximity Safety 
Set the distance between your phone and your face that triggers your phone
’s proximity sensor 
to work. 
Note:  If you disable the proximity sensor, it may cause accidental key presses during a call. 
1.  Touch Home 
 > Menu 
 > System settings > Display > Screen proximity 
safety. 
2.  Use the slider to set the distance from your face and touch OK. 
Storage Settings 
The Storage settings menu lets you manage internal storage on your phone and provides 
options for your microSD card. 
Device Memory 
The internal storage menu lets you view your 
phone’s internal storage capability and available 
space. 
►  Touch Home 
 > Menu 
 > System settings > Storage. 
  View your device memory storage total space and space used by specific features. 
  Touch an itemized category for additional details. 
Phone 
Your phone has some internal space for storing pictures, music, etc. just like the SD card. For 
switching the designated storage area of your phone between phone and SD card, see

SD Card 
The SD card options let you 
view the card’s size and available space, unmount the card for data 
protection, and format (erase) the SD card. For more information on the SD card, see

Primary Storage  
Select your primary storage. 
1.  Touch Home 
 > Menu 
 > System settings > Storage > Select primary storage. 
2.  Select Phone or SD card. 
3.  Read the message and touch OK.
