1. Mac OS X (Require Version 10.3, 10.2 or 10.1) 
1.1. How to install 
Since the device operates with the Mac OS X 10.3, 10.2 and 10.1 standard  built in driver, you can use it 
by simply connecting the USB cable. When you insert a formatted floppy diskette into the USB FDD, a 
floppy disk icon (10.3 and 10.2) or removable drive icon (10.1) will appear on the desktop.

1.2. Ejecting a Floppy Diskette 
Drag the floppy disk icon on to the trashcan. The trashcan icon will change to an eject icon. Then drop 
the floppy disk icon. After that, push the eject button of the USB FDD unit to eject the floppy diskette. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2. Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS 8.6 
2.1. How to install (For Mac OS 9.x) 
USB Floppy Drive also works with Built-in Mac OS 9.x drivers made by Apple Computer. So, just connect 
the USB FDD to you Mac, our USB Floppy Drive will work without any additional driver. 
 
2.2. How to install (For Mac OS 8.6) 
Install software driver before connecting the USB FDD on Mac OS 8.6. 
1)  Run “USB FDD Installer” located on the driver CD-ROM.

When installation of the USB FDD driver has completed, restart your Macintosh.
   
3) 
Plug the USB FDD into the USB port of your Macintosh
4) 
Insert a formatted floppy diskette into the USB FDD. A floppy icon will appear on the desktop of the 
Macintosh.
 
 
2.3. Ejecting a Floppy Diskette (IMPORTANT) 
Drag the floppy diskette icon to the trashcan.  Or single click the  floppy diskette icon and select [Eject] 
from the Finder’s [Special] menu. 
Do not remove the floppy  diskette except as outlined above! Eject the floppy 
diskette before entering sleep mode
 
Trashcan icon will change to eject icon
