Configuring other mail filters

Apart from virus scanning engines, GFI MailSecurity also includes a number of other mail 
filtering mechanisms as described in this chapter. 

The Content Filtering feature allows you to set up rules to filter emails containing particular 
keywords or a combination of keywords in an email. A rule is composed of: 



  Keywords to block in the email body, subject or attachment 



  Actions to take when a keyword is found 



  The users to which a rule applies. 

NOTE: Although this feature can be used as a filter against spam email, it is recommended 
to use dedicated software to block spam. For more information, refer to:
